Keri's Israeli Style Meatballs

After joining the blog a few months ago, this is my first post! These fabulous meatballs are really flavorful and pretty simple to put together.

  • 1 lb. of ground beef
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • pinch cayenne
  • salt
  • 2 TBSP parsley
  • 1 egg

Mix it all up in a large bowl. Roll the meat into balls 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. They should be sticky and hold their shape pretty well. Brown the meatballs in a pan, then cover the pan, turn down the heat, and let them cook. From start to finish, they should take about 20-30 minutes to put together.
